case study :: nike

Freelance work often requires you to be a jack of all trades. Creative Circle tapped me for a job with Nike's internal communication
team
in 2010 that called for just this. The job description for someone to produce a 75 page book cover-to-cover in one week.
The internal team's initial emphasis was on producing a book similar to another piece of brand collateral done in New York, and
then similarly in Dallas. As soon as we sat down to discuss the project, it was clear that differentiation was as important as
visual continuity. The job became creating a brand for Chicago within the Nike brand - showcasing how the two intertwined as
inseparable halves of a whole.
