professional approach
in our fast-paced, results-driven environment, work style is now more than ever acknowledged as a key part of delivery. the approach a creative professional brings to a project has the ability to influence quality, budget, and the potential for creative excellence on a larger scale. as a design leader, my goal is not only to accomplish what can be measured and claimed as my own, but to elevate the quality of work done by a team. this approach acknowledges all members for what they contribute and empowers people to help others.
these are the core beliefs that inform my work style: that the correct approach to professional services is an active, engaged and responsive one. that pride in one's own work should always be balanced by respect for the work and work-styles of others. that questioning should be taken and given openly at all times, but most importantly at the beginning. that new and better methods are always at hand if we recognize the opportunity for skillfully executed changes. that trade knowledge and healthy professional relationships are the essential elements for opening possibilities of what can be done.
supporting these attitudes and beliefs is a firm foundation of competence and a core desire to deliver work of the highest quality. this relies on an understanding of best practices, technical knowledge enabling accurate delivery, and a platform of skills for the creation of new content and new strategies based on new needs. without the ability to finish a project, there is hardly the need to start one. my work here is evidence of an adaptive approach rooted in discipline, bolstered by (rather than reliant on) technology, and steeped in a commitment to the power of creative solutions. |
